Last week Wednesday, we held another Seoul Space event featuring Jin Ho Hur, CEO of Crzyfish, a Korean social games publisher. The event was held at Zoo Coffee in Nonhyeon-dong, next to Seoul Space. Around forty people, representing a variety of startups and journalists attended the event.
Jin Ho Hur discussed a wide variety of topics regarding social gaming and Facebook’s prospects in the Korean market. He stated Crzyfish was mainly targeting the Korean and Chinese market for its social games but found the Korean market to be highly profitable on a per user basis. He also noted that while Cyworld has opened its platform to third party developers, the viral factor of Facebook apps has yet to be duplicated on Cyworld.
