Practice Your Pitch at the November Startup Pitch Workshop

Last month, we hosted the very first “TWiST Seoul Pitch Workshop“. We saw 9 entrepreneurs practice their pitch in front of 3 judges. The event was a big success and we’re excited to announce our second workshop!

These workshops allow the entrepreneurs to hone their pitch and receive invaluable feedback from their peers as well as Korean and international industry leaders  and experts. They are also aimed at preparing you for the upcoming December Twist Seoul event.

Our next workshop is going to be a special one as it will be part of a bigger event, the Twitter Seoul Teatime Developer event!!  That is, all workshop participants get an automatic invite to the Seoul Developer Teatime.  ROWR!!

This is a great opportunity to practice your pitch before the next Twist Seoul –or your next investor or sales meeting —  and to get feedback from world class judges from Twitter.

Nine companies will attend the workshop and break-up into groups of three. Each group will be assigned a judge. Each entrepreneur will have one-minute to give their company pitch in English. After each pitch, the judge and other entrepreneurs will give feedback. After each company has gone, we’ll take a short break and allow the entrepreneurs to gather their notes and refine their pitch.

The companies will each pitch one more time and get one more round of feedback. After the second round, the judges will choose one entrepreneur as the winner from the table.  All 3 winners will pitch one final time to the entire group. The judges will then determine the winner from the top 3 and this person will automatically be given a spot in December’s pre-pitch Twist Seoul event!
